Hello sweet second grade friends and parents, I am Miss Smith! I am SO excited to be part of the VOE second grade team! More importantly I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me!
I was born and raised in Houston, TX! I have 2 older sisters, Jessica and Chelsea and one older brother, Carter. I am the youngest! When I graduated high school, I moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University – Gig ‘Em Aggies, Whoop! I majored in Early Childhood Education and couldn’t wait to graduate and start teaching.
This is my 2nd year at Valley Oaks and my first year in 2nd grade! I am so lucky to work at such an AWESOME school!
I am engaged to a wonderful man, Mr. Pavlicek, who will become my husband this year! We are getting married in March, so you will have plenty of time to learn how to say my new last name!
I am so excited to be your teacher and for you to be part of the AWESOME team we have this year in Room 16. This is going to be a GREAT year!
